One of the easiest ways to start accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash payments on your Shopify store is to use a service provided by Coinbase. Thanks to LHV, a low-cost SEPA payment works between Coinbase and your bank account.
How to start?
- Create a Coinbase account. This can take a while, as there are several security processes that need to be completed to activate the account.
- Once the user is activated, create a Coinbase Commerce API key. In the menu on the left you will find Settings and under it API Keys and Create new key.
- Once you have completed the previous steps in Coinbase, go to your e-store admin environment Settings part and choose Payment providers . Select Coinbase Commerce.
- Add the email you used to create your Coinbase account and the API key you received from Coinbase.
- Save.
And that's it, now you can officially accept payments in Kyrgyz currency and convert them into euros.
Although there are likely still few cryptocurrency payments in e-shops, you can still use allowing Bitcoin payments as a marketing message. 🙂
