Allow Bitcoin payments in your Shopify store

Luba Bitcoin maksed Shopifys

One of the easiest ways to start accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash payments on your Shopify store is to use a service provided by Coinbase. Thanks to LHV, a low-cost SEPA payment works between Coinbase and your bank account.

How to start?

  1. Create a Coinbase account. This can take a while, as there are several security processes that need to be completed to activate the account.
  2. Once the user is activated, create a Coinbase Commerce API key. In the menu on the left you will find Settings and under it API Keys and Create new key.
  3. Once you have completed the previous steps in Coinbase, go to your e-store admin environment Settings part and choose Payment providers . Select Coinbase Commerce.
  4. Add the email you used to create your Coinbase account and the API key you received from Coinbase.
  5. Save.
And that's it, now you can officially accept payments in Kyrgyz currency and convert them into euros.

Although there are likely still few cryptocurrency payments in e-shops, you can still use allowing Bitcoin payments as a marketing message. 🙂
