Falcon Enamelware B2B wholesale store
Since 1920, Falcon Enamelware has been an icon of British homes. Originally produced in the Black Country near Birmingham, England, Joe Kleiner & Sons created the original enamelware brand, with its distinctive icy white and blue trim, the classic design is instantly recognisable to this day. In 2011, the original collection was revived – creating new colours and kitchenware sets, along with increasing the size of the classic mug, making the products more durable and hard-wearing.
Falcon Enamelware Wholesale Platform
The client had a functioning B2C e-store sales channel on the Shopify platform for years, and the goal for 2023 was to move wholesale orders from email and Excel to the e-store.
Shopify Plus provided Falcon with all the functionality it needed:
- Only verified business customers can enter the wholesale platform
- The e-store manager can manually add and approve new business customers.
- A business customer may have multiple locations, or addresses, to which goods are ordered.
- Each business customer location has an administrator or subscriber with separate rights.
- A business customer can have multiple users with different rights.
- One business user can prepare a purchase and another user must approve it
- Each business customer or customer group can have their own product price list if necessary
- Customers can order products individually or by the box
- Customers can place an order without immediate payment and each customer may have a different payment term
- The online store has a minimalist design that gives wholesale customers a quick overview of all products.

Without knowing the details, it is challenging to predict the budget of an e-commerce site.
Building the simplest e-shop on Shopify will stay within our minimum budget of 1000€.
For e-commerce sites with more complex business rules, custom business software integrations, and user interfaces drawn by a designer, you should consider a budget of €10,000+. -
The best way to do this is to use our Parcely parcel locker app. We offer a free setup of the app and delivery method. You can install the app itself in your e-shop from the official Shopify app store here https://apps.shopify.com/parcelyapp
-
We always recommend the OPAY payment initiation service because it allows you to display your bank selection directly in the Shopify checkout and the service itself is reasonably priced.
-
Yes, of course. The Shopify admin is very user-friendly, and there are many tutorials online. You can also take a look at our little guide here.
We sometimes help merchants with just a few changes or small development tasks. For example, we have developed the Directo integration for several online stores, meaning the merchant built the online store by themselves and we just added Directo integration to it.
-
Yes, it's not difficult if all work tasks are defined and described before starting the migration. Products, categories, content pages, and blog posts can often be transferred automatically (depending on the software). However, you need to consider manual work to check everything over and correct links and content layouts.
You can't migrate the theme code or user interface of an e-shop, but you can use it as a basis when creating a Shopify store and create something as similar as possible if necessary. -
The Shopify Plus plan is Shopify enterprise software, meaning it differs significantly in functionality from the standard Shopify packages.
The Shopify Plus plan is worth it if the merchant needs the functionality not available in Shopify's regular plans. For example, the Plus plan is necessary if the merchant works in a wholesale business or needs more B2B functionality.
The Plus plan also pays off if the e-store's annual turnover exceeds a few million. Namely, with the Shopify Plus plan, the merchant pays a significantly lower service percentage fee per order.
