The main difference compared to other themes is the placement of products on the front page. This ensures a quick shopping experience for users without having to search for products in collections.
This design is especially suitable for presenting a simple restaurant menu, for example. While the Express theme and Shopify's other recent update Local and curbside pickup put together, then the owner of a café or smaller restaurant can also relatively easily allow customers to place their food orders by picking them up themselves.
Shopify promised that soon, merchants will also be able to register and track customers who pick up their items in Shopify POS, the e-store admin environment, or the Shopify mobile app using reminders. The reminders show the merchant how far away the customer is and when they will arrive.
